Gameplay/Story

See: for more info on this

Chris's Stroy is what we refer to for the sub-game in the Terran World. It can be look at from the story-perspective like an anime with several separate story arcs made up of 6 episodes (at least, that's our aim). From the Game play perspective, it will be broken down into sequences of up to 6 game events (again, that's our aim).

How each story arc, sequence, episode, and game event interact and depend on each other will depend on the writer for that particular area. Ideally, game play will look something like this:

Where each colored box represents a sequence, and each circle is a game event.

Game Play

Take this into consideration, we've developed a handy way of referring to each part: Sequences are refered to by the following letters:

  • A - Basic Clime,
  • B - Cold Bearing Clime
  • C - Tropical Braving Clime
  • D - General Story
  • E - Temperate Living Clime
  • F - Shoreline Dwelling Clime

With in each sequence is a numbered game event. This is referred by "Game Event " [sequence letter][game event number] * for example: Game Event A1, Game Event C4, Game Event F6 The first events of the sub-game (that aren't tied to any sequence) are referred to as Game Event BEGIN The last events of the sub-game (that aren't tied to any sequence) are referred to as Game Event END

Story

Story wise, each sequence may contain multiple arcs (although this maybe rare). For example: Game Events F1, F2, and F3 may be one arc that revolves around Lindsey. Game Events F4 and F5 may encompass another arc, this time revolving around Katie Game Event F6 goes to the Shoreline Dwelling Convention. (this is subject to change)

Each game event may encompass multiple episodes, or multiple parts of an episode, depending on who writes it.

Important

It is important to remember: To Anyone:

  • That just because a story arc centers around a character, or just involves them, we can not make the player choose to have that person on their team. I would like to have the story events involving the characters happen whether on not the character is on the player's team (Although, there maybe small suttle changes, if the writer wishes).

To the writers:

  • Make sure you read the following articles, too know what to include in the script.
