This page is where you can find out how work on the project is broken down.

How it works

Although it still has bugs to work out, this is the system we have (or are going to have) in place. So, lets start.

First and Foremost

We are all volunteers. We are all humans. We all make mistakes. Remember that.

Second

This project is headed by GGS's division 1. Under this division, we are broken up into teams and then further into parties. Anybody can join any group, just don't stretch yourself too far. We recommend choosing a few (3-5) groups and helping out where they need it, instead of joining every group you can. As more people join, you may choose to drop 1 or 2 groups, and that is fine with us. (If you wish to be in charge of a Team, please see here)

Third

Specifically, each Team is given a general area of game design and/or development, whereas a party is given a more specific area.

For example: Game Event D2 is an article about Game Structure in Chris's Story.

At the time of the writing of this page, The mentioned article would fall under the areas of the groups:

This page falls under the domain of the following:

Team A - Party 1 & Party 2Team F - Party 1Team H - Party 1

please confer with them before making any major changes

Because it fell under many diffrent groups, it would be ideal for the groups to work together to see how the article will come out. If however conflicts occur, we recommend the following ideas to come up with solutions:

  1. power should be divided and delegated downward, where as a party will handle an idea/edit/conflict before a team does.
  2. in the event of a conflict between two parties in the same team, the captain of the team should be called in to settle the dispute.
  3. in the event of a conflict between a two parties under two different teams, a party and their team, or even two teams, the division manager can be called in settle the dispute.
  4. all changes, conflicts, and other ideas should be talked over on the page's discussion page. This can be avoided for minor changes (such as spelling and grammar) only.

Whom are they

The following are the current teams, and links to them are provided for your convinunece (?). Please check each out to see which fits you best. We will keep it as up to date as possible.
